Art has always been a part of my life. My grandfather, uncle and sister were artists. All painted in oils. My sister switched to watercolours and that is when I knew I wanted to paint with watercolour. I also have an Interior Decorator Certificate from Sheridan College, Oakville.
I love the soft transparency of watercolour. Through the use of strong colours and light, I like to bring excitement to my subjects. I have been most influenced by the impressionist painters and excellent instructors at the Haliburton School of the Arts. Living in the Haliburton Highlands inspires me daily to paint.
